Job Overview

The incumbent is primarily responsible for providing effective support to the Contracting function, by providing relationship management support to Contracting customers. The incumbent will be responsible for proactively assisting in managing client relationships (within delegated authority), preparation of credit proposals and maintaining all Contracting function documentation after receipt in accordance with QNB credit policies and procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification :

  • University graduate (Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering)

Job Responsibilities

1. Shareholder & Financial:

  • Assist in monitoring and achieving KPIs.
  • Implement best practices for the role.
  • Promote cost efficiency and productivity.
  • Operate within delegated authority limits.

2. Customer (Internal & External):

  • Perform credit documentation per QNB policies.
  • Provide timely information to auditors and compliance teams.
  • Assist customers with queries and provide solutions.
  • Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal units.
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments.

3. Internal Processes & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Manage corporate customer portfolios and meet financial/non-financial targets.
  • Prepare credit proposals for new/prospective clients.
  • Ensure all legal and financial documentation is current and complete.
  • Review credit applications and monitor risk factors.
  • Monitor credit positions per QNB limits and strategies.
  • Prepare management and business information reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis and assess repayment capacity.

4. Learning & Knowledge:

  • Maintain knowledge of corporate banking products, regulations, and reporting.
  • Identify professional development opportunities.

5. Legal, Regulatory & Risk:

  • Comply with all legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
  • Follow the Three Lines of Defence principle for risk management.
  • Support Operational Risk Management, RCSA, KRI, and incident reporting.
  • Attend mandatory training and seminars.

6. Other Duties:

  • Maintain confidentiality and high professional standards.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as requested by management.
